Elves

I'm taking orders for the Steeler elves now, so send me an email if you want on the list.

I won't be able to post them on my site, till I fill the orders.. which keep coming in!!

I've been making these elves for over twenty years & they're still very popular!

I use 4 different fabric patterns: Print, Plaid, Stripe & Camo... & they're all in a Red & Green color combination.

All the elves have jingle bells and pom poms on their hats & shoes, buttons down their bellies, wire rim glasses, hand crocheted scarves, wiggly eyes and velcro on the palms of their hands, so they can clasp them under their knees to sit up ...or to hang from a banister or railing.

The elves bodies are all sewn on the machine & I sew all the embellishments on by hand.. NO GLUE, including the eyes, ears, nose, hair & beard.

I also crochet all the scarves myself & sew my initials.. DLG... on the rear-end of each elf, along with the year that he's finished.

The hair is either off white, brown or yellow, depending on the yarn available.

I started with a pattern that was in Crafts Magazine in the 1980's & have changed some things over the years, to make it my own.
